How to Add Full-Size Images and Full-Size Video to the Featured Pages Slider
If you look at the Alternate Home Page on the demo site, you’ll see the Featured Pages slider at the top. In some of the featured entries, you’ll see full-size images and a full-size video. In this brief tutorial, I’ll show you how to achieve this effect.
1. Install and activate the Page Tagger plugin. This plugin will allow you to add tags to your WordPress Pages just as you can your Posts.
2. After you have the plugin installed and activated, you’ll be able to use the following tags:
- full-image – any entry tagged with this tag will show the full-size image in the Featured Pages slider.
- full-video – any entry tagged with this tag will show the full-size video in the Featured Pages slider.
3. To display a video in the slider, simply enter your video embed code into the field labeled “Video Embed Code” found under the Solostream Post Options.
